Happy New Year 2026!
I hope you are doing well and looking forward to the New Year with peace and joy. We are praying for another successful school year and completion of many projects to increase sustainability and serve into the future.
Thanks to God and those that have shared gifts to help us move forward! We continue to pray for funding the modernization of our kitchen, toilets, and play areas. We are hopeful that many children will be in a better position, because of their HCH education, to move into their future with hope.
Haiti and its children continue to move forward step by step. Thanks to our leadership, teachers, and support staff for what they do each day to continue developing opportunities for each of our children.
- 11 years in: we continue to have over 300 in school, Kindergarten through High School.
- 13 years in: we continue to host Saturday Kid’s Club with bible study, music, games, education opportunities and lunch.
- We have educated hundreds of students and continue to feed thousands of meals monthly.
It’s amazing to see what God has done! We are grateful to have seen our school grow and continue to educate children on the mountainside. We have survived many storms and thank God for his grace in our area.
The world has made many attempts to try and help Haiti in hurricanes, earthquakes, political challenges, and gangs. Often these attempts to help have been misguided, leading to worse situations instead of progress. Haiti now seems to stand alone to solve many of her problems as she struggles for her survival.
Sustainable solutions and keeping God at the center have been a big part of our progress forward. I still believe we are making a daily difference in children’s lives, in our area, and for generations to come. The last few years have been extremely difficult, and well worth the effort.
God has blessed our mission and ministry. We have excellent staff, teachers, cooks, and students who are meeting the top scores in the entire country.
Thanks to everyone for your continued support, as we continue to complete many projects. We pray for God’s continued protection on our mountain and blessings to finish the infrastructure. We are planning to complete our construction projects, modern toilets, play areas, kitchen and renew our Medical Clinic with a new Doctor.
