July 2025

Greetings – Still Alive in 2025

We just finished the 2024 – 2025 school year due to the late October start. Our 309 students are off for summer break with 367 registered for the fall. This will be year 11 for education.

Our school campus, medical clinic, and farm are supported by your kind gifts and our low, tight, balanced budget as God provides. We have several summer construction plans pending as funds and gifts are provided:
1. Solar battery changes
2. Kitchen upgrades
3. Modern toilets for teachers
4. Security gates

We are funded by:
1. 160 child sponsors (we need many more)
2. A small business on the farm
3. Local parent contributions through school fees
4. Churches

In June, one of our sponsors wrote me about discontinuing 6 child sponsorships for financial reasons. I thanked her and her husband for their many years of support. I told her thank you and that I appreciated her contributions for close to ten years. She said if God provided she would be back, and didn’t realize her contribution was so important.

Our prayer team in Haiti at our school and church prayed for her financial situation. The next day she informed me she could continue her sponsorship of 6 children as funds were provided. We are thanking God! Whether sponsoring one child for $25 a month, or 30 children like another couple. Each is important

By now, you may have heard that June brought me some heart issues while on vacation, after retiring for the third time to focus more of my time on Haiti’s Children’s Hope. After open heart surgery in Lincoln I am now in rehabilitation. Thanks for the many prayers, calls, texts, and visits.

I am planning fall speaking engagements in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. We appreciate your daily prayers, small and larger contributions. Haiti ministry can be challenging, difficult and dangerous as the country struggles, but it is necessary to continue Christ-centered education and daily meals assisted by our farm.

We have several areas near us that are requesting Saturday Kids Club. A couple of smaller schools that need assistance.

Thanks for listening. Praying for your response in prayer and funding. We have PayPal available or checks to our address. We have banks in Nebraska, Oklahoma and Haiti.

We are still able to give 98% of each dollar directly to our mission due to the US volunteer team and volunteer Haiti board of dedicated individuals.

Praise God for another year!
