Haiti’s Children’s Hope is celebrating our 10 year anniversary!
Glory to God for 10 years of loving and serving the children of Barbeau and Destra, Haiti. We have so much to celebrate!
Together, we have helped make a difference in the lives of children that are living in true poverty. Our children in Haiti are among the poorest of the poor but together we have made a difference by feeding them, drilling clean water wells, building a medical clinic and providing routine medical care, educating them and developing our community.
We want to say a huge thank you to our Haitian staff, Haitian and USA volunteers, many teams, donors, and child sponsors! God has used your prayers, time and financial generosity to make such a difference for our students, kids club kids, community and more.
We have supported children, through spiritual and nutritional means. We have 5 successful programs that support Haitian children:
* Child Sponsorship
* Kids Clubs
* Education
* Healthcare
* Community Development
These programs help work toward a sustainable existence for the impoverished in our rural area. We currently have about 300 children daily in elementary and middle school, 300+ in Kid’s Clubs on Saturdays. We love watching them all grow physically, mentally and spiritually!
We would like to thank our partners, who have supported us in many ways: Compassion International, Samaritan’s Purse, Convoy of Hope, Life Line Ministries, International Farmers (IFOSUD), GAIN (Germany), Christ Place Church (NE), Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), Glencoe Church (OK), Everlasting Love Church (NE), Haitian Tampa Church (FL), and others.
We would also like to thank each of our child sponsors. HCH Child Sponsors provide so much love and care to our school students. Your faithful support is changing their lives.
Our Haitian family has survived many challenges and difficulties throughout these many years: earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, political unrest, gangs, poverty, loss of a President, and third world illness and disease. Through Christian faith and love, we have been able to support and soften the effect of many of these challenges.
We are currently finishing our 7th year of school and 10th year of Saturday Kids Clubs. We are looking forward to the future. We are working on sustainable programs such as: farming, micro-business, education, healthcare and more fresh water wells.
We are completing construction on the school campus and farmhouse. We are in need of an additional classroom, for the 9th Grade this fall 2022, to include a library and computer room. We are hopeful that funding will come together for this soon.
God has provided for HCH again and again. Sometimes in mysterious ways &, most times, through generous and praying people. God has always provided and we thank Him!
