May 2021

Greetings in Jesus Name!

It is humbling to be working with our Team in Haiti. Their prayers and healing in my life have been a very big part of the 7 year journey I have been on. I have been chemo-free for 2 years today. Praise God. Thanks to our USA Team as well for all of their support.

I want to thank God for all of the good things that are going on at HCHO. I thank God for the protection of our Haitian Team, with the many challenges they face on a daily basis. In spite of all they’re facing we are continuing Christian School weekly. Our Kindergarten through 7th Grade is going well.

Our Kid’s Club, Medical Clinic, Food for Life/Farm and Community Development all remain effective. We are adding 10 goats that sponsors have provided to bless families with nutrition and income.

Our construction continues for completion of 100,000 Reasons. The completion of Phase #1 of the Kitchen/Cafeteria and Administration Floor should be a reality in May/June. The cafeteria will have temporary tarps for the roof. Our Administration Room should be operational in June, with our new Administration/Accountant Assistant in place. This will be a big help to Wegens and Adler and provide timely communication about our programs.

The final payments for the farm will be paid this month. Our first farm harvest was OUTSTANDING! We gathered cucumbers, beans and more to help provide sustainable nutrition and income as the surplus was sold in the local market. To see photos of our recent harvests be sure to follow our Facebook page: @HaitisChildrensHopeOrg.

Samaritan’s Purse continues to share Operation Christmas Child boxes with our Kid’s Club at Barbeau and Destra. This is an important program, as most of you know. We are thankful for their partnership!

We continue spiritual battles and challenges with our children in our Christian School. Our children have many influences in their homes and communities with active Voodoo and demons. Please help us pray and continue to fund our programs, teachers, administration, medical, and support personal.

Our annual meeting for HCHO Corporation, will probably be in July for our Corporate US Staff. I am hoping our North and South US Teams can meet soon. Further plans to travel to Haiti are on hold, due to the many dangers. We are prayerful about bringing Adler to the USA this Fall 2021.

May God be with you this summer. To God be the Glory!!
