October 1, 2020

We are loving having our students in school and we are very excited to add the 7th grade this November! Have you felt a tug on your heart to provide for someone in need? Have you talked with someone who might want to get involved in bringing hope to a child in Haiti?

We are currently looking for sponsors for our new 7th grade students so please visit our new website, www.haitischildrenshope.org to “Sponsor a Child” (note 7th grader) if you’d like to provide a student with the following:

  1. Education
  2. School uniform
  3. School lunch (often their only meal of the day)
  4. Teachers
  5. Healthcare
  6. Books
  7. Food to take home over breaks

We currently have 12 students planning to join our 7th grade class next month and only two currently have sponsors so please be praying with us that the Lord brings the sponsors we need to support them. We are also in need of one time donations to cover the costs of adding this class, teachers, books, desks and the other things needed to get things started. We are looking to raise $2600 for these needs.

Construction is going well on the new kitchen. We hope you’ve seen the photos of the hard work of so many Haitians on our Facebook page: Haiti’s Children’s Hope Organization. We are posting the progress each week. We continue to feed children daily and can’t wait to do it from this new facility!

We are currently praying and working toward a new Administrator/Accountant as we settle into the school year along with a doctor for our medical clinic needs. Please pray with us that the Lord provides people with a heart for the mission of HCH to join our team.

We are excited that plans to add a deep water well to our church partner are moving forward! This well will bring clean water to the church people and their surrounding community.

This month we celebrate our medical clinic’s second anniversary! We have accomplished many things in these two years including care for our students & surrounding community. We have also been able to add a laboratory, glass windows and screens to provide better patient care.

Thank you so much for your support in so many ways! As always, feel free to ask me any questions. I am available by email or phone and am still getting together with people outside for meetings or coffee if you have time or can come visit me here on the farm.

May God bless you and bless HCH as we move forward.

In Jesus,
Jacob Wilson
President HCH
